Since 2020, work has been carried out on its infrastructure and architecture using open-source software for the management and visualization of cartographic data. Platforms such as the IDEMSA Viewer, an interactive map portal, and WMS/WFS services for GIS data consumption have been implemented. The system includes 182 thematic layers, two spatial databases, and a high-resolution satellite image mosaic. The available information covers topics such as tax zoning, management of public and private works, road safety, urban forestry, and climate action, among others.</p><p>IDEMSA has been key in administrative modernization, optimizing processes and promoting interoperability between municipal areas. Additionally, it enables citizen participation by offering open and accessible data. Furthermore, it integrates the Board of Directors of IDERA, as a representative of Local Governments, and participates in two working groups. El sistema cuenta con 182 capas temáticas, dos bases de datos espaciales y un mosaico de imágenes satelitales de alta resolución. La información disponible abarca temas como zonificación tributaria, gestión de obras públicas y privadas, seguridad vial, arbolado urbano y acción climática, entre otros. </p><p>IDEMSA ha sido clave en la modernización administrativa, optimizando procesos y promoviendo la interoperabilidad entre áreas municipales. Además, permite la participación ciudadana al ofrecer datos abiertos y accesibles. Por otra parte, integra el Consejo Directivo de IDERA,como representante de Gobiernos Locales y en dos grupos de trabajo.
