Agenda for Local Democracy

Cada uno de los ejes que plantea esta propuesta, es objeto de trabajo dentro del proceso de co creación que, desde el Observatorio que dirijo, y la Municipalidad de Córdoba, venimos abordando y fue la propuesta presentada y lamentablemente no votada.

Each one of the axes that this proposal proposes, is the object of work within the co-creation process that, from the Observatory that I direct, and the Municipality of Córdoba, we have been addressing and it was the proposal presented and unfortunately not voted.

Chacun des axes que propose cette proposition fait l'objet de travaux dans le cadre du processus de co-création que, de l'Observatoire que je dirige, et de la Municipalité de Cordoue, nous avons abordé et la proposition a été présentée et malheureusement pas votée.

pour nous en Tunisie et surtout en notre commune les minoritaires sont pris en considération surtout les handicapes notre ville est une ville inclusif et accessible pour les femmes 50 pour cent de l assemble municipal sont des femmes et des jeunes

Los Gobiernos Locales puedes deben estar en la capacidad de formular mecanismos innovadores, orientados hacia el cumplimiento de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible, que sean versátiles para identificar las condiciones diferenciadas en que ocurren los procesos de desarrollo local. De especial importancia identificar las brechas de género que limitan el cumplimiento de la Convención contra todas las forma de discriminación hacia las mujeres y demás leyes nacionales sobre equidad de género.

Considerar las dimensiones de género, edad, procedencia y discapacidad en el despliegue del sistema de participación
Promover programas concretos para la participación de minorías y comunidades desaventajadas

Sin duda es la mejor propuesta, es lo que estábamos esperando de tiempo atrás. FELICITACIONES en mayúscula realmente nos identificamos plenamente, pues esta considerando población rural, dispersa, vulnerable, en condición de discapacidad e invitando a el género femenino que ha sido en nuestros países relegado en este nuevo modelo de DEMOCRACIA PARTICIPATIVA.

Explicit reference is needed to a wider set of considerations in the deployment of the participation system to ensure that sexual orientation, residential status and neurodiversity are taken into account. The last objective should emphasise the quality and outcomes of participation. Inclusivity cannot be measured by simply having more people involved. Participation needs to be meaningful in terms defined by the participants themselves. Inclusion does not mean that all spaces are open to all people. Safe spaces are also needed where vulnerable people can participate; this may mean that exclusive channels are also needed to meet wider inclusive goals. The provision of ‘channels’ for participation needs to be accompanied by capacity-building initiatives to address structural inequalities that reduce participation.

The biggest and most fascinating challenge is turning the "majority" attentive to the needs of the minorities and of the disadvantaged people, more than setting "quotas", complex mechanisms and special venues to "protect" from the crowd.
In my experience I assisted to a beautiful Participatory Budgeting where one of the delegate proposed to increase the budget to support the families in difficulty (which usually don't participate in Italian PBs) and the community opted for it, instead of other alternatives.
