The Multicultural Center Brusinka in Brno would like to achieve higher levels of equality, community empowerment in our city, which becomes multicultural because of a high number of foreign students and workers. Our students are coming from diverse cultural backgrounds.
We are supporting people in the fields of international migration, social inclusion, and global development. For us it's the most important thing to achieve higher levels of equality, including diversity as a criterion for inclusion. We would like to empower non-organised citizens to create a community and participatory democracy “ecosystem”.
The Multicultural Center Brusinka in Brno is promoting the idea that culture and language are not to blame, and that every foreigner has the right to a personal opinion and expression. Its focus is intercultural, and provides a place where members representing a variety of backgrounds, participate in programs and activities. We would like to ensure effective collaboration between the city of Brno and foreigners. For this matter, the Center’s programs and activities are developed to increase the awareness, understanding, support and intersectionality of the various identities in the local community.
As a Multicultural Center we are a special safe space in Brno, which serves as a mean for the dissemination of different educational, artistic, cultural expressions to unite people from different backgrounds. Our Center allows intergenerational exchanges and community-building for the inhabitants of our city to have a physical space to openly express themselves and celebrate their diversity in unison.
It is really important to create here a profound and comprehensive system of services in the private, public and also non-profit sectors for the integration of foreigners. National diversity helps dispel negative stereotypes and also recognize and respect different groups so that as we interact with others we can build bridges to trust, respect, and understanding across cultures.

", "", "El Centro Multicultural Brusinka de Brno tiene como objetivo alcanzar niveles más altos de igualdad y capacitación comunitaria en nuestra ciudad, cada vez más multicultural debido al elevado número de estudiantes y trabajadores extranjeros. Nuestros estudiantes proceden de diversos entornos culturales.
Apoyamos a personas en los ámbitos de migración internacional, inclusión social y desarrollo global. Para nosotros lo más importante es alcanzar mayores niveles de igualdad, incluyendo la diversidad como criterio de inclusión. Nos gustaría capacitar a los ciudadanos no organizados para crear un \"ecosistema\" de democracia comunitaria y participativa.
El Centro Multicultural Brusinka de Brno promueve la idea de que la diversidad cultural y lingüística no son un problema, y de que todo extranjero tiene derecho a opinar y expresarse personal y libremente. Nuestro enfoque es intercultural, y proporciona un lugar donde los miembros que representan una diversidad de orígenes, participan en diferentes programas y actividades. Queremos garantizar una colaboración eficaz entre la ciudad de Brno y los extranjeros. Para ello, los programas y actividades del Centro se desarrollan para aumentar la conciencia, la comprensión, el apoyo y la interseccionalidad de las diversas identidades en la comunidad local.
Como Centro Multicultural somos un espacio seguro especial en Brno, sirviendo como medio para la difusión de diferentes expresiones educativas, artísticas, culturales para unir a personas de diferentes orígenes. Nuestro Centro permite los intercambios intergeneracionales y la creación de comunidad para que los habitantes de nuestra ciudad tengan un espacio físico para expresarse abiertamente y celebrar su diversidad al unísono.
Es realmente importante crear aquí un sistema profundo y completo de servicios en los sectores privado, público y también sin ánimo de lucro para la integración de los extranjeros. La diversidad nacional ayuda a disipar los estereotipos negativos y también a reconocer y respetar a los distintos grupos, de modo que al interactuar con los demás podamos tender puentes hacia la confianza, el respeto y el entendimiento entre culturas.
