Welcome to the OIDP community website. Practices of participatory democracy on a local and regional scale to deepen the roots of democracy in the municipal government.
The IOPD presidency proposes a series of topics which it considers that should be included and we encourage you to comment on these proposals. You can indicate whether your comment is in favor, against or neutral.
Proposals will be available in Spanish, French and English, so we recommend you to write your comments in at least one of these languages.
You can also suggest other ideas to include in the first draft by adding them as comments to the proposals of the presidency.
Process of co-creation
Welcome to the co-creation process of the Agenda for Local Democracy
The IOPD Assembly will be held on November 27th 2018 in Barcelona. It will approve a final resolution that will be an agenda for local democracy: a guide for local governments who want to improve their democracy.
In order to elaborate this agenda with all IOPD members and experts we open this co-creation process.
