Its overall objective aimed to contribute to the improvement of youth socio-economic conditions in Lushnje by enhancing the local public infrastructure and quality of and access to services. But the creation of what we call today the Multifunctional Youth Center in Lushnja went far beyond constructing a building; it marked a transformative shift in the municipality's approach to youth engagement and empowerment. By creating a dedicated space for young people, the project catalyzed a deeper understanding within the local government of the importance of youth as active contributors to community development. The municipality recognized that investing in youth means investing in the future, prompting a cultural shift towards fostering greater inclusivity, collaboration, and participation in decision-making processes.</p><p>On the other side this center has not only provided a venue for creative and educational activities but also empowered young people to take responsibility for shaping their futures. Through their involvement in the Local Youth Council, program design, and evaluation processes, youth have gained an active role in municipal decision-making. This participatory approach has instilled a sense of ownership, responsibility, and confidence in young citizens, encouraging them to lead initiatives that address their needs and aspirations. Moreover, the youth center has enriched the social and cultural life of the entire Lushnja community. Programs such as painting, coding, European Integration school, and environmental projects, along with youth exchanges, have created a vibrant hub of activity that brings people together, fosters creativity, and promotes intercultural understanding. These initiatives have not only benefited the youth but have also enhanced community cohesion and pride, making Lushnja a more dynamic and inclusive place to live. In summary, the establishment of the youth center has gone beyond physical infrastructure. Su objetivo general era contribuir a la mejora de las condiciones socioeconómicas de los jóvenes de Lushnje mejorando las infraestructuras públicas locales y la calidad y el acceso a los servicios. Pero la creación de lo que hoy llamamos el Centro Juvenil Multifuncional de Lushnja fue mucho más allá de la construcción de un edificio: supuso un cambio transformador en el planteamiento municipal de la participación y la capacitación de la juventud. Al crear un espacio dedicado a la juventud, el proyecto catalizó una comprensión más profunda en el gobierno local de la importancia de la juventud como contribuyente activo al desarrollo de la comunidad. El municipio reconoció que invertir en la juventud significa invertir en el futuro, lo que propició un cambio cultural hacia el fomento de una mayor inclusión, colaboración y participación en los procesos de toma de decisiones.</p><p>Por otro lado, este centro no sólo ha proporcionado un lugar para actividades creativas y educativas, sino que también ha capacitado a los jóvenes para asumir la responsabilidad de forjar su futuro. A través de su participación en el Consejo Local de la Juventud, el diseño de programas y los procesos de evaluación, la juventud ha adquirido un papel activo en la toma de decisiones municipales. Este enfoque participativo ha inculcado un sentido de propiedad, responsabilidad y confianza en la ciudadanía joven, animándoles a liderar iniciativas que aborden sus necesidades y aspiraciones. Además, el centro juvenil ha enriquecido la vida social y cultural de toda la comunidad de Lushnja. Programas como pintura, codificación, escuela de integración europea y proyectos medioambientales, junto con intercambios juveniles, han creado un vibrante centro de actividad que reúne a la gente, fomenta la creatividad y promueve el entendimiento intercultural. Estas iniciativas no sólo han beneficiado a los jóvenes, sino que también han reforzado la cohesión y el orgullo de la comunidad, haciendo de Lushnja un lugar más dinámico e integrador para vivir. En resumen, la creación del centro juvenil ha ido más allá de la infraestructura física. Cette approche participative a inculqué aux jeunes citoyens un sentiment d'appropriation, de responsabilité et de confiance, les encourageant à mener des initiatives qui répondent à leurs besoins et à leurs aspirations. En outre, le centre de jeunesse a enrichi la vie sociale et culturelle de l'ensemble de la communauté de Lushnja. Des programmes tels que la peinture, le codage, l'école d'intégration européenne et des projets environnementaux, ainsi que des échanges de jeunes, ont créé un pôle d'activité dynamique qui rassemble les gens, encourage la créativité et favorise la compréhension interculturelle.
