São Paulo: Semeando Negócios - For Sustainable Development of the Countryside
The project "Semeando Negócios" is the result of a partnership between Ade Sampa and the Municipal Secretariat for International Relations, through the Coordination of Cooperation for Sustainable Development (CCDS). With the goal of consolidating public policies focused on agricultural activities in the city of São Paulo, the program aims to strengthen the businesses of small producers in the southern region by offering support in property management and formalizing agricultural activities. Overall, the goal of the program is to contribute to local economic development, generate income for workers, open markets, improve access to public policies, strengthen rural tourism, and maintain agricultural activities in the region.
The area has great ecological significance, being the largest continuous green space in São Paulo. Thus, the presence of local farmers also helps protect natural resources and preserved areas. To ensure the presence of these workers, Semeando Negócios invests in infrastructure, materials, and technical services aimed at strengthening agricultural activities in the region.
