Preparatory Meeting of the OIDP General Assembly 2025

The General Assembly of the OIDP is a key moment of the year when representatives of local and regional governments that are members of the network come together to discuss the program and actions to be carried out throughout the year. It is also an opportunity for local and regional governments to express their views on issues relevant to the local democracy agenda.

This preparatory session, which will be held virtually, aims to present the working documents to be adopted during the General Assembly, and to collect amendments and proposals from participants.

Items to be presented for discussion:

• Presentation of the Córdoba Conference (program, logistics).
• Nominations to join the Coordination Committee.
• Renewal of the Gender Equality Co-Presidency leadership.
• Final declaration of the OIDP Conference (Córdoba Declaration).
• Candidatures to host the 2027 OIDP Conference (and opening of the online vote).

The relevant preparatory and informational documents will be shared ahead of the meeting.
