Source: {"body":{"en":"<p>The Guayas Care System ‘Caring for Lives’ is based on the interaction between citizens and public institutions, achieving access to social services and training processes that improve living conditions through citizen empowerment and the recognition of the efforts of women caregivers and cared-for people.</p><p><img src=\"https://lh7-us.googleusercontent.com/S4bMKRWr8xlvygbq7FBhfCGmEnESJkUQH9eyfVGunmAhA9nkEV71d3wGs0Hw4VYUiDvvaz91zMHkO2yjrje0dFI5hm7TJCAwwybb6azz7-0ehm6drDOTU3-ljQUcog2qd7nT3zo9iT4DnKpiZPkGeG8\" width=\"602\"></p><p>The inter-institutional articulation developed by the Autonomous Decentralised Provincial Government of Guayas contributes to reducing duplication of efforts and making coordinated work feasible.</p><p>On the other hand, it generates positive effects in the community involved, contributing to the recognition, reduction and redistribution of unpaid care work in the households of the province of Guayas.</p><p>The system implements the components: Training, Welfare and self-care, Income generation and Care, which contribute to:</p><ul><li>Capacity building;</li><li>Improving welfare conditions and contributing to physical, mental and emotional health care;</li><li>Economic autonomy;</li><li>Care and/or support, through leisure, pedagogical, recreational, cultural, sporting and temporary care activities, which promote their autonomy, care and well-being, while positively reducing the care time of carers.</li></ul><p>One aspect to highlight is that the system projects a multiplying effect with the implementation of care blocks in the 25 cantons of the province of Guayas. It is important to highlight that, in less than a year of implementation, four care blocks have been opened in Guayaquil, Daule, Palestina and Simón Bolívar; and it is projected to be replicated in other provinces, making it the <strong>first care system in Ecuador and the first at provincial level in Latin America.</strong></p><ul><li><a href=\"http://www.guayas.gob.ec/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.guayas.gob.ec/</a>&nbsp;</li></ul><p> </p><iframe class=\"ql-video\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" src=\"https://www.youtube.com/embed/1y1aN2Z1uMk?showinfo=0\"></iframe>","es":"<p>El Sistema de Cuidado del Guayas \"Cuidando Vidas\", se fundamenta en la interacción entre la ciudadanía y la institucionalidad pública, logrando el acceso a servicios sociales y procesos formativos que mejoren las condiciones de vida por medio del empoderamiento ciudadano y el reconocimiento del esfuerzo de las mujeres cuidadoras y las personas cuidadas.</p><p><img src=\"https://lh7-us.googleusercontent.com/S4bMKRWr8xlvygbq7FBhfCGmEnESJkUQH9eyfVGunmAhA9nkEV71d3wGs0Hw4VYUiDvvaz91zMHkO2yjrje0dFI5hm7TJCAwwybb6azz7-0ehm6drDOTU3-ljQUcog2qd7nT3zo9iT4DnKpiZPkGeG8\" width=\"602\"></p><p>La articulación interinstitucional desarrollada por el Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Provincial del Guayas contribuye a reducir la duplicidad de esfuerzos y viabilizar el trabajo coordinado.</p><p>Por otra parte, genera efectos positivos en la comunidad intervenida, contribuyendo con el reconocimiento, la reducción y la redistribución del trabajo del cuidado no remunerado en los hogares de la provincia del Guayas.</p><p>El sistema implementa los componentes: Formación, Bienestar y autocuidado, Generación de ingresos y Cuidado, mismos que contribuyen al:</p><ul><li>Fortalecimiento de capacidades;</li><li>Mejoramiento de las condiciones de bienestar y contribuir al cuidado de la salud física, mental y emocional;</li><li>Autonomía económica;</li><li>Cuidado y/o apoyo, a través de actividades lúdicas, pedagógicas, recreativas, culturales, deportivas y de cuidado temporal, que promueven su autonomía, cuidado y bienestar, a la par que reducen positivamente los tiempos de cuidado de las personas cuidadoras.</li></ul><p>Un aspecto a destacar es que, el sistema proyecta un efecto multiplicador con la implementación de manzanas de cuidado, en los 25 cantones de la provincia del Guayas.
