2024 Award "Best Practice in Citizen Participation"

This practice can be defined as Action planning based on re-engaging and strengthening of bonds, boosting the economic and financial independence of citizens living in extreme poverty and combating the exploitation of child labour, and guaranteeing the rights of children and young people. Since it is impossible to reach the entire sphere of demand for social services, we have chosen those that can achieve practical results more quickly.  

The humanitarian and welcoming treatment of the homeless population and the preventive fight against child labour are already showing promising results in terms of reducing violence in the municipality. 

Results:

• 252,000 meals ready;
• 1,008,0000 people benefited from cow's milk.
• 8,652 people benefited from non-perishable food;
• 270 people benefited from temporary decent housing.

Our actions have attracted the attention of other federal entities, which have sought out these practices for application in their regions, and the media is constantly looking for content on our good practices for public transmission.
